EUPHORIA ROCKS GUILDFORD

Gig review 1st March - Guildford Civic Hall

What a fantastic night for euphoria…..!

Sharing the same stage as our heros, Kenny Jones (Small Faces), Robert Hart (Bad Company), Rik Wills (Foreigner), Gary Granger (Rod Stewart Band) amongst others.

Playing support for such talent certainly sorts the men from the boys and gave euphoria a huge lift. In the midst of such stardom as Big Face, one might expect euphoria to be somewhat in the shade. However the recognition they have been striving for seemed momentarily within grasp. With a full light rig and excellent sound crew the euphoria magic kicked in and the boys did what they do best….had fun and entertained the crowd!

It wasn't long before the hall filled with curious ears and the already-initiated were rocking! Fans had been bussed in by the coachload and were quick to claim the front of the stage. With a set list comprising mainly of euphoria songs, the band felt it a supreme honour to be told by Kenny and Robert that they had really enjoyed the performance and had noticed the euphoria energy and drive. What a buzz……performers of their experience stating that they felt the short support set was "tight, well-timed and delivered". "You were rockin' boys!", said Robert.

Big Face rocked with a wicked set bursting with classics. Superbly delivered with drama and humour by front man Robert Hart. Special guests included Damon Hill, Jim Davidson, John Lodge (Moody Blues), plus a number of celebrities in the audience. Party anyone?….a personal invitation to Kenny's Polo Club in Hurtwood was extended to the whole audience.

With another date set for early September make sure you book early as tickets are to sell out. Details to be confirmed.

So a huge thanks from euphoria to James Ford and the team. I hear they're looking forward to rocking Guildford again soon.
